Area
Choose Tools => Area on the menu. To draw a polygon, follow the same directions as for
polyline creation. The perimeter and total area are indicated in the
instrument's window.
Note that for users with metric system of measurement the area value is
given in hectares, for users with U.S./imperial — in square miles and
square feet.
Use the 'Reset' button to clean the map and draw a new area.
